TECH5 will actively contribute its expertise to ID2020’s operations of advisory committees and working groups in order to help accelerate access to inclusive digital identities and shape secure, interoperable, standards-based, digital identity solutions.
From its inception, TECH5 worked with government organizations in providing its biometric technologies and expertise for National ID projects in a variety of countries across Africa, Middle East and Asia. The key principles of TECH5 are based on the vision that Government beneficiary programs should be designed on the principles of inclusion of all intended citizens in such initiatives, providing unabridged access to goods and services, improving the quality of citizens’ life. Rob Haslam, the TECH5 strategic advisor for its T5-Mobile ID solution, becomes a contributor to the Identity Binding working group for the Good Health Pass Collaborative (GHPC) and the Advocacy Advisory Committee of the ID2020 Alliance itself, which is focused on gathering and communicating best practice for implementers and relying parties of health passes from a range of expert sources.
The Good Health Pass Collaborative is an open and inclusive initiative for the technology, health and travel sectors to create a blueprint for interoperable “digital health pass” systems to help build a safe path to restore international travel and restart the global economy. “I am honored to participate in GHPC to share my expertise and contribute to such a unique initiative, helping to address a critical need to standardize how an individual can safely, privately, and appropriately share their COVID-19 status information, using digital solutions” — says Mr. Haslam.
