Title: An Innovative Approach in the Development of AI-based Contactless Fingerprint Capture and Matching Algorithms, Designed to Improve Efficacy of Law Enforcement Use Cases

TECH5 has taken a novel approach by applying Machine Learning to algorithms’ development for contactless fingerprint capture and biometric matching across all modalities developed by TECH5 – face, fingerprint, iris, palm, and tattoos. By using mobile phones, contactless fingerprint capture helps speed up the process or workflows in law enforcement and public safety use cases. The same technology can also be used in the latent acquisition, and auto enhancement for lights-out searches depending on the quality of the latent. During our talk, we would like to demonstrate the results of our research and speak about the algorithms’ performance in NIST and other tests, as well as their benefits and capabilities, including 1:1 and 1:N high matching speed and accuracy and verification, and projects.
